Since I was a child I've always been a little plump and as far as I can remember I've always wanted to lose weight.
I tried a lot of fast and miraculous diets that I gave up after a week.
I gained 15 kg in two years. Then I heard about Weight Watchers that is quite famous in France.
I join the first weekly meeting to try and it has been a good experience.
You have good recipes and it doesn't seem hard. Sometimes you even think that you will never lose weight considering what you eat, but it works.
You lose slowly but there's no frustration, no restriction.
My weak point is sugar and cakes, and you can eat some every week. I've lost 10 kg in 8 months and I stabilized it.
Weekly meetings with other women really help. When you lose motivation there is always someone to help you.
The most important thing is to change your habits. You can't lose weight on a permanent basis if it's too hard. You have to change your entire relationship with food.
Even though I don't want to lose weight anymore, I've kept the Weight Watchers habits. It helps me a lot so I would recommend it for sure.
