You deserve to lose weight. But something is holding you back. What is it?
You must be missing something, right? Because you haven't been able to lose weight up until now. But when you get it all figured out you will be able to lose weight. It is like magic. You couldn't lose weight before and now you can.
That's the first thing I reveal about weight loss nutrition: what do you really need to know to lose weight?
Then to some real fundamentals of nutrition. You have to figure out what it is you are putting in your mouth. What is your food made of?
You need to know what your body does with the food you eat. What does the protein, fat and carbohydrate you eat do to your figure?
Protein is a key. How much protein do you need to lose weight?
Should you have a high protein diet, and are high protein diets dangerous?
Where do you get the protein you need?
And what about carbs. Just what are carbohydrates?
How do complex carbohydrates help you lose weight?
And what about the glycemic index. Is the glycemic index something you need to worry about?
Then you've heard about the problems with being overweight and diabetes, right? And how your weight is all wrapped up with insulin becoming a diabetic. You need to know whether your weight is putting you at risk for developing diabetes.
Now, when you are slimming down, fat is a big subject. You've got to eat some fat--it is in your food. And you need some fat to be healthy. A while back there was a lot of talk about low fat diets to lose weight.
And then it all shifted. There were the no carb/ low carb diets, like Atkins and South Beach Diet. You've probably been on one of them. Did they work for you? What is the truth about the low carb high fat diets?
You must know which fats you need. You need fat in your diet. But then you get a George Foreman grill to get rid of the fat. It can be confusing. Which fats are good for you and help you lose weight?
See some fats are good. Healthy. And some fats are bad. Killer fats. You need to know where are the killer fats and how do you avoid them.
So when you know all that, what's in your food, the ins-and-outs of protein, fat and carbohydrate, then you're finally on your way to taking off that weight, and having the body you really want!
