After trying many useless fad diets, I have found great success with the Abs Diet by Men’s Health. I found the Abs Diet book on the clearance shelf at a local book store and, since I am a huge fan of Men’s Health magazine, I decided to try it out.
It turned out that it is a solid diet based on a high protein base of foods.
I am a male in my mid-twenties and needed to lose about 20 pounds. After six weeks of trying this program out, I noticed that I was losing a lot of weight.
This diet is very similar to the Atkins diet but with more emphasis on exercises that target the abdominal region. A worthwhile diet if you really want to get that summer body that everyone wants.
The Abs Diet, unlike the Atkins Diet, left me full of energy because it does not eliminate all carbs from your daily intake, but rather helps you focus on the high protein foods that make you feel fuller longer.
The Abs Diet also helps develop a great eating schedule by eating smaller portion meals about six times a day.
High protein snacks are essential with the Abs Diet.
My wife tried out the Abs Diet for women and did not have as much success as I did with the Men’s version, but I noticed the plans were a lot alike. If you can be consistent for six weeks, then you will be successful on this diet.
