I tried to do spinning once with my friends from college, when I was 19 years old. They were taking a class for an easy grade and the class was a spinning class.
The class is an hour long while you are on a bike with low lighting and loud music. It really gives you a lot of energy and you do not want to stop.
I was in relative good shape but had never tried spinning before. What made it difficult for me was the duration of the class and the fact that it was a 7 A.M. class.
I started attending class regularly and I really noticed the changes in my body. I was more toned and had lost around 5 pounds with just spinning.
My friends are responsible for pushing me and I was responsible for their success as well. It was a team effort.
I remember the first time I tried it, I was sore especially around the butt area, but with time you do not remember that feeling.
I still exercise today but have not been spinning in a few months. I will be going back to it soon.
Have fun and definitely get outside your box and try something new. You might even go and get spinning shoes!
