Using weight loss diets to stay in shape by: Anonymous
I agree about the taste of the shake. Yummy. I do not have a weight problem but I do know when my body is slowing down and I'm beginning to feel sluggish. When this happens the shakes are a good way to go.
I find that adding stuff to it makes it more filling. Stuff like nuts and fruits such as extra banana, pineapple etc., just lightly blended so there is a bit to chew, or diced is great.
I find no harm in adding this stuff as they simple add nutritional value and increase the fibre content.
I always find that a week of this gets me back on track and feeling like new.

Did you ever try drinking water when you'd feel hungry? Ice cold water has always worked to curb my appetite. I've tried the slim fast diet as well, and had pretty good success. I do agree though, I also had the problem with hunger. When I'd begin to feel it coming on I'd do one of two things:
1. Drink water, a lot of it. So much of it that I felt like I'd explode. 2. I'd do something active. Half the time that you feel hungry, you're really just bored and looking for something to do. The key is to keep yourself as occupied and busy as possible.
