From all I heard and saw, it appeared that Nutrisystem would be the perfect diet for me.
I had to lose about ten pounds after a rather sedentary period in which I packed on some weight. Nutrisystem seemed to be the answer.
First, I hate to cook, so one month's set of prepacked meals delivered to my door sounded great. Also I was able to select my food choices from a wide variety of foods.
So how come Nutrisystem didn't work for me? It is simple...I personally am unable to eat the same types of food for an extended period of time.
The choices, although there are many, simply became boring after a while.
One finds themselves looking to eat something...anything...that is not a Nutrisystem meal.
Unfortunately, often times I did find something else. The occasional slice of pizza instead of the prepackaged meal and so forth.
Soon I was rarely eating the prepacakged meals at all.
I realized that I had totally abandoned the plan when I saw a large quantity of unopened Nutrisystem meals in my freezer way past the time I should have eaten them.
Simply put, Nutrisystem made me feel like I was denying myself. And as we all know, one can never succeed on a diet that is denial based.
I am sure that Nutrysystem would work for others. For me it was not the answer and turned out to be a waste of money.
Not all was lost though, because at least I learned what type of diet would be best for me.
