You've decided not to exercise.
Maybe you don't have time. "Too busy."
Or maybe you think that you can't exercise. Medical issues. Injuries.
Or you just plain hate to exercise.
Or is it this: "Exercise is just not my thing." All right.
So you need to know how to lose weight without exercise. And keep it off.
It's not easy. But if you follow these quick weight loss tips and do it right it can be done.
Let's look at what you need to do to lose that extra weight.
To lose weight without exercising you have to everything else just right. You don't have a lot of room for error.
This grading system can really help you. It is based on a scoring system of the things that you can do to lose weight or gain weight.
It's set up like grades in school. An "A" is 90%. "B" is 80%. "C" is 70%. "D" is 60%. "F" is 50%.
See, you grade your results. Do you like your body? That's at least a "B". Hate it? That's a "D" or "F".
OK. You get enough water. You get enough sleep. You take your vitamins. Those are 10% each -- that's 30%.
You have one fruit and a good variety of vegetables every day -- that's another 30%. You're up to 60%.
You eat protein throughout the day -- another 20%. You're up to 80% -- that's good for a "B".
If you prepare your food in advance -- another 10%. And keep a food diary -- another 10%. And now you are at 100% -- and you get an "A".
By the way, do you know why you don't keep a food diary?
It's not because "it's too hard" or "too much work."
It's because obesity and weight loss is an emotionally charged subject. And facing what you eat is emotionally difficult.
And writing down what you eat causes you to face something you find upsetting. So you'd rather not look. So you come up with "reasons why" you don't want to keep a food diary.
And because of that you lose out on all the benefits you get from a food diary. That's something for you to think about.
So you can lose weight without exercise and keep it off if you do these things on a daily basis.
But as soon as you hit the drive through more than once per week -- you subtract 20%.
Skip breakfast -- you take off another 20%. Now you are at 60% -- a "D".
Do you wonder why "diets don't work" for you? Add it up. Skip breakfast a couple of times and go through the drive through and you get a "D" -- and you are going to hate the way you look.
Do one of those fad diets or try to lose weight too fast -- subtract 30% from your results -- and you'll never like the way you look.
And if you drink your calories -- whether it is Coke or Sprite or too much fruit juice -- subtract 10% to 20% -- and you will never get the weight off.
