I was on Atkins diet for about 2 years. I lost 80 pounds, felt great, looked great and was even healthier when it came to checking my blood work.
After I stopped dieting, I slowly got back into a bad routine of eating bad carbs and slowly put the weight back on.
I met my current husband, and when we started dating things were good, but then I slowly started eating more, and before you know it, I would up right back where I was in the beginning.
It was great, and easy while I was doing it, but today it is not a realistic diet for me.
Sad to say today, I still am the 80 pounds heavier and still struggling to loose it.
Fad diets don't work. You have to change your lifestyle.
I am on to weight watchers today, and currently it is working great. I already lost 12 pounds, so we'll see how this turns out.
