The program that worked for me was Weight Watchers.
I had been on it for about 6-8 months. I was trying to lose some weight before my brothers wedding.
At first when I started it was hard. I had to retrain my brain how to eat better.
I also had to get myself motivated to do it. It got easier as it went along.
By the end I didn't have to measure out my food as much as I did in the beginning. I liked some of the food products that they offered. Only set back was the cost of the food.
I liked the point system that they had with it. I could save some extra points for later in the week. That way if I had a family event or special night out I wouldn't have to be too careful. I could enjoy myself without the worry about was that too much and spoil my diet.
When I would go out to eat I would order a salad or chicken and try to stay low carb. You can be tempted by so much if you’re not careful.
For the most part it was an easy program to work with. I would definitely try it again.
I just need to get motivated again. I have 3 boys so it is not always easy. They like their snacks, healthy or not.
They can eat and not put the weight on. No so much the case for me. It is reversed. Just have to look at it and I can gain weight.
This is a program that I would definitely recommend. You don't have to take any pills with it.
You just have to learn to retrain your brain. Don't get discouraged. It will take time. Good luck if you try it.
Just a side note. You can modify most recipes so that you don't feel like you’re shorted from your favorite foods.
