Do you want to lose weight?

I am a 24 years old female with weight problems. However so far I have lost 40 pounds in about a year on and off.

I could have lost more but I always fall of the horse. I used to weigh 215 pounds and now I am 175.

I don't believe in taking diet pills or having any kind of surgery to lose weight unless you are really overweight and you will die if you don't have surgery. That is the only thing that would get me to cut my body and my insides.

I lose weight naturally by eating right and exercising. I eat out rarely and I don't have a specific diet however I cook almost every meal at home from scratch and I don't use any of those frozen foods.

I try to eat as much fruits and vegetables as I can and drink lots of water.

When it comes to exercising I go to the gym Monday-Friday. If you go to the gym try to have a routine in which if you go 3 times a week just continue doing that and don't miss even a day. I am saying this because once you miss your gym for one or two days it is very hard to get back. I know because it happened to me a few times before.

I am sharing this with you because I want people to lose weight, be healthy and feel good about themselves. Until I weigh between 120 and 130 pounds I won't be happy and most importantly I won't be healthy. Thank you for reading!!!

Evelina,
That's great advice that you give.

Once you get into a regular exercise routine you can really see results. But you have to stay with it.

I have certain days and times when I exercise. And I can tell you now that next year on a Friday night around 9:00 PM I will be doing cardio at the gym I go to. Saturday abs and some circuit training. Monday, probably a leg routine.

If your exercise isn't scheduled as part of your life, like brushing your teeth or going to work, you just won't stick with it and you won't get the results you would really like.

Hi I am Shweta Jain from India. I am a 28 year old lady.

Few times back I was very fat and could not help myself in any ways. I tried every possible means I could but nothing worked. Ultimately I at the height of it I even lost my confidence that I could ever become slim and a beautiful lady.

But one day one of my friends goaded me to try again with a last ray of hope and it really worked. That I want to share with you all. It doesn't require any sophisticated technique but just a change in the perception and the will and finally the patience.

I started taking small bytes instead of larger ones and started splitting a heavy meal to smaller ones and having them at a fixed time gap and also one of the most important thing, reducing the eating speed to at least half, this led me to think that as if I am eating a great churn of food.

Hi, I am Phani. I am 22 years of age.

Two years back I was very fat and I felt so many problems like joints pain and my energy levels are weak. This really troubled me a lot. My friend suggested me some methods to reduce obesity. From the next day I started to follow these methods.
I started doing exercise daily which really helps me in loosing weight. Along with that I also started taking nutritious food having all the combination of vitamins, proteins, minerals and cereals for the healthy body and to avoid fat contents. I started drinking more water nearly 6 liters in a day and I also avoid all the fast and oil foods and I started taking vegetables and fruits which really brought a great change in my body.

Tips and home remedies to reduce weight

Many women, though they are aware of their overweight do not take any steps to reduce weight. So the first important step is to motivate yourself to reduce weight. The second step to lose weight is to change your food habits. Reduce food intake and go for a balanced diet with vegetables and fruits. The basic principles for weight management revolve around the intake and expenditure of calories. To maintain weight one must ensure that the calories consumed are equal to the calories expended.

Though there are many modern techniques and treatments available for weight loss, there are many simple home remedies one can follow to reduce weight.

Salt helps in reducing weight. Add lime juice and salt to lukewarm water and drink empty stomach in the morning to reduce weight. Eating 10-12 fully grown curry leaves every morning for 3 to 4 months may be helpful in weight loss for obese and overweight people. Soak 4 to 5 garlic pieces in milk and boil it till the milk is reduced to half. Eat the garlic along with the milk. Garlic helps in removing the unnecessary fat from the body. Regularly taking cow's milk with honey also helps in reducing weight.Grind carrot and add to butter milk and drink regularly to lose weight.Eat papaya or vegetable soup as your dinner for 2-3 months if you want a quick weight loss. This works in controlling obesity. You can also try this most common and simple home remedy for obesity. Add half teaspoon fresh lemon juice and half teaspoon fresh honey in a lukewarm water. Take this every morning with an empty stomach.

Apart from the above, do simple exercises like walking. It is always better to have food to your half stomach. By doing so, you will also be able to do your work with much ease. Do not sleep after having your full meals. Eat your food slowly and enjoy your food. Avoid fat rich food and reduce the intake of milk products, drink skimmed milk and soups. Avoid eating while watching TV or chatting with friends. Reduce the intake of soft drinks, coffee, tea, instead take fresh juices and tender coconut.

When I was a teenager the Doctor always told me I have to lose 15 pounds. I really tried every diet they told about, also I tried with diet pills, but I always gain the weight I lost and of top I don?t like to exercise. After that I start eating healthy, that?s eating more vegetables, less candies and just forget about mayonnaise and ketchup. Now I eat whatever I want three times daily, in smaller quantities lost 18 lbs and have kept my weight for almost 5 years. I found that you can eat whatever you want as long as you maintain a daily balance and eat just what you need to get satisfied.



Tips To Reduce Weight

My name is Kumar and I am 22 years of age. 6 months back I suffered from Obesity. At that time my weight was nearly 90 kg. I really faced so many difficulties like Muscles pain and Spinal cord pain. Doctors advised me to walk daily for nearly 45 min. But I am unable to do such a long time. I cannot walk for even 15 min.
One day I met my close friend and we chatted a lot. He asked me about my health. I told him about my problems due to Obesity. Then he told me some food techniques. He also explained some other techniques to follow along with food techniques. On the next day I woke up at 6am. I drank 3 glasses of water. After 15 minutes I started doing yoga which are related to stomach and thighs for 30 minutes. After that I walk for 10 minutes. For breakfast I ate 5 slices of bread and a glass of Milk. For every 1hour I started drinking 1-2 glasses of water. In the lunch I ate a cup of rice with only green leafy vegetables. After 2 hours I ate some fruits like Guava, Grape and Apple. In the dinner time I ate fruit and walked for 15 min before going to sleep. I followed this technique for 6 months. Now my weight is 77kg and I am feeling so energetic.

Procedure for weight loss

Before Breakfast:
After waking up take a liter of hot water, then do yoga for 30 minutes and take a tumbler of hot water along with mixing a spoon of honey.

Breakfast:
Take 2-3 tumblers of wheat porridge.

Lunch:
Take a cup of meal along with greens and some vegetables.

Dinner:
Fruits alone must be taken as your dinner for 3 days a week.

General Advice:
Mostly add Ragi and Wheat foods in your menu.

If the above mentioned processes are carried out without fail, one will lose a kg per week and 3-4 kg per month.
This doesn?t have any side-effects and moreover it?s good to our health.
