My general information:
Female 30 years old, height 165 cm. Weight before Atkins 100 K.g., weight after Atkins 71 K.g.
I have tried a lot of weight loss programs but never completed any one. The main problem that I have with each program is that after few days of following a program, I start feeling very hungry without any way to get rid of it.
When I tried Atkins, I was surprised to feel full without any hungry feeling even after three months of following the diet.
Atkins is based on eating proteins with restriction of carbs. So I can eat almost anything without any problems, only without rice or bread. Actually this was great for me as I don't like eating rice or bread very much.
You can eat food out in restaurants. You can also get Atkins specific food in the store, but it is not a must to succeed in that program.
I have been on Atkins for about 3 months and guess what, I was able to loose about 20 K.G. in such a small period.
I didn't follow any coach, but I got the Atkins book, and one of my friends and I and followed it. It is very important to have someone with you in this to encourage each other.
I highly recommend it to everyone.
